So there are a range of similar looking plastic holders, with very subtle differences in design. The last pair I purchased didn’t hold the AirPod in my ear. When it dislodges the audio temporarily ceases. This pair secures the AirPod at a different angle and thus far have held the AirPods secure in my ears.
