1/4-inch Quick Connect Flow Restrictor 300CC, for Reverse Osmosis RO50, GPD RO 300 cc/min flow restrictor for 50 GPD reverse osmosis systems, with 1/4-inch quick connect fittings. Installs in the brine (drain) line to create back pressure and force water through the RO membrane. Replace the flow restrictor each time the RO membrane is replaced. Constructed from food-grade materials, the flow restrictor enables quick connection and disconnection without additional tools. Its purpose is to create backpressure on the drain line to assist in pushing water through the membrane, while maintaining a flow rate sufficient for cleanliness. The restrictor fits standard 1/4-inch OD copper, CPVC, PEX, and PVC tubing used in most reverse osmosis systems.
