Its actually quite annoying, sometimes when im going to bed, ill unplug it. Also, sometimes the controller likes to connect, sometimes it doesnt. However, for how cheap the controller is, thats expected. I would recommend if you want a controller that wont bug you, probably just spend the extra $20 for a better one, but if you just need one quickly and dont care, this is a fantastic choice.
