Works fine when nailed in bottom of our wood dining room chairs. Take care to hammer straight down when installing. If you nail other than straight down, you can cause the felt to move towards the edge of the plastic, shortening the useable life of each. Tip: if replacing an existing 'nail on' glide, insert a toothpick or even a q-tip stem into the existing hole prior to nailing in the new glide. Read more",
