I then texted a link to family members and just sending photos through text puts photos directly onto the frame. Cool. I like it. You can then manage the frame through their app - which photos to change out/remove, how fast to display them, etc. I can manage my mom’s frame via the app from 100 miles away. Perfect. I read reviews of other frames and this one stuck out because I don’t have to pay a subscription, I have unlimited photos and free storage. I also discovered that the ease of use is exactly as others described. It’s easy. Picture quality is bright and clear although bad photo in, bad photo displayed.. It turns off at night and back on when light hits it. Nice. Buy it. It’s worth the money. Once it took a week to get back online and i thought i was going to have to erase my account and start over, but then it went back to normal. I like the fact that you can switch the timing of how you want pictures to go by. I ended up at 5 minutes per picture, so we can actually appreciate each one. It really is a nice gift. We take so many pictures and they just stay in our phones, so this is a good way to actually see them. My only reason for the 4 starts are the couple times i had reset issues, but that was literally maybe 3 times, over the course of the past year, and only one of those times affected me. If you are looking for a digital frame, there are definitely cheaper ones on the market. I do like the design and look of this one though. It doesn't 'feel or look' cheap. and that I appreciate.
