Review snippets: Only had this microwave two weeks now. This seems to be a fairly well built unit for a Chinese made product. Its a larger unit and takes up a bit of counter space. A little larger than the old 1989 / I had Sharp before, but they only last for 2-3 years, before magnetron gets damaged. ( planned obsolescence, EU - please sue Sharp/Samsung already ) I hope that Avanti last longer. As people say it averages 5 years. Will update
