This sling transfers the load off the neck and onto a "collar" that surrounds the opposite shoulder. Also, it can / If you’re having shoulder surgery this is a must have! It’s pricey, yes...but so worth the money for taking the strap weight off your neck! This fits very securely, preventing your arm from swinging out, it’s comfortable, very well made.
