This is my 2nd time purchasing. The liners are easily separated and filter fine sediment. To get full flavor, only fill 3/4. Then, after securing the lid, turn upside down once to loosen the grinds. Fine grind (espresso), works well, too. Using too much coffee prevents water distribution through the coffee. I toss it all in the garden, no plastic, no waste. Saves a bunch of money. Read more

I use these to replace K-cups and they do the job, but there is a bit of a learning curve. In my Keurig, using just one filter causes it to burst open, so I’ve had to double up on the filters. Once I did that, they worked much better. Not perfect out of the box, but still a decent option if you’re looking to cut down on K-cups and don’t mind making a small adjustment. Read more

Love these little filters! Easy to use and makes emptying coffee grounds a snap. Now cleaning the K-Cups is no longer a messy, arduous task. A gentle tap on the side of the waste basket and the grounds quickly fall out along with the filter. It’s easiest if you allow the filter to dry first. If you empty right after using, you’ll need to grab a corner of the filter and gently pull being careful not to tear the filter. While the filters are fairly strong they’re definitely less so when wet. I usually remove the K-Cup from my machine immediately after brewing and set it aside to cool and dry out a bit … the dryer the filter, the easier it slides out of the K-Cup. As for coffee flavor, I’ve never experienced any bitterness or “off” flavors since using these but I mostly was looking for easier clean-up for which they’re an A+ … at least for me! Read more

I generally prefer coffee from the pot, especially considering I can easily drink a pot a day. However, sometimes the pot is empty, and I'm in a hurry, so I grab a reusable coffee pod and brace myself for the inevitable sludge at the bottom of the cup. On top of that, there's always that weird k-cup/pod flavor; the coffee just never tastes like it does from the pot. After growing tired of the pods not meeting my standards, I looked online for an alternative solution and came across these filters. Long story short, these filters work incredibly well. They completely eliminate the sludge, so I no longer need to avoid the last sip or two of thick, sandy coffee. On top of that, it turns out the sludge is what gives the coffee that weird unique flavor, so filtering it out means coffee from the pod now tastes like coffee from the pot. It's a win-win! For reference, I'm using these filters with reusable pods for the Ninja Dual Brew. I can attest that they fit quite well. However, they do leave a slight gap between the bottom of the filter and the bottom of the pod. Therefore, if you prefer very strong coffee, you might not be able to add enough grounds. For a normal cup, though, the filters are plenty large enough. I use a scoop designed for filling reusable pods (it has a hinged funnel attached), and one full, level scoop is the perfect amount to fill the filter. The only downside is that they can be a little tricky to remove from the pod afterward. Being thin paper, they tend to tear when wet, and there's only a small lip to grab onto. I find that allowing them to dry and using another pod works well, as the filters easily pop out when dry. If that's not an option, a bit of patience and a few attempts will eventually remove them when wet, but you'll likely end up with grounds on your fingers. Overall, 10/10, would recommend. Read more

"body": "Love these little filters! Easy to use and makes emptying coffee grounds a snap. Now cleaning the K-Cups is no longer a messy, arduous task. A gentle tap on the side of the waste basket and the grounds quickly fall out along with the filter. It’s easiest if you allow the filter to dry first. If you empty right after using, you’ll need to grab a corner of the filter and gently pull being careful not to tear the filter. While the filters are fairly strong they’re definitely less so when wet. I usually remove the K-Cup from my machine immediately after brewing and set it aside to cool and dry out a bit … the dryer the filter, the easier it slides out of the K-Cup. As for coffee flavor, I’ve never experienced any bitterness or “off” flavors since using these but I mostly was looking for easier clean-up for which they’re an A+ … at least for me! Read more",

"body": "I generally prefer coffee from the pot, especially considering I can easily drink a pot a day. However, sometimes the pot is empty, and I'm in a hurry, so I grab a reusable coffee pod and brace myself for the inevitable sludge at the bottom of the cup. On top of that, there's always that weird k-cup/pod flavor; the coffee just never tastes like it does from the pot. After growing tired of the pods not meeting my standards, I looked online for an alternative solution and came across these filters. Long story short, these filters work incredibly well. They completely eliminate the sludge, so I no longer need to avoid the last sip or two of thick, sandy coffee. On top of that, it turns out the sludge is what gives the coffee that weird unique flavor, so filtering it out means coffee from the pod now tastes like coffee from the pot. It's a win-win! For reference, I'm using these filters with reusable pods for the Ninja Dual Brew. I can attest that they fit quite well. However, they do leave a slight gap between the bottom of the filter and the bottom of the pod. Therefore, if you prefer very strong coffee, you might not be able to add enough grounds. For a normal cup, though, the filters are plenty large enough. I use a scoop designed for filling reusable pods (it has a hinged funnel attached), and one full, level scoop is the perfect amount to fill the filter. The only downside is that they can be a little tricky to remove from the pod afterward. Being thin paper, they tend to tear when wet, and there's only a small lip to grab onto. I find that allowing them to dry and using another pod works well, as the filters easily pop out when dry. If that's not an option, a bit of patience and a few attempts will eventually remove them when wet, but you'll likely end up with grounds on your fingers. Overall, 10/10, would recommend. Read more",
