After we gave the carpet a good emersion scrubbing we got the original color back but the backing strip of liner just fell off. I bought this tape and it did a great job restoring our carpet liner. It has a durable mesh built into the double sided tape and makes it nearly indestructible! This stuff really sticks! It's thick and the hold is amazing! We may get another decade out of this carpet!
