Review snippets: Just what I wanted. It protects the floor in a pet area but is practically invisible. Came rolled up, so it took a few minutes to flatten it. Bottom is smooth. Topped a slightly rougher surface for non-skid. Read more / works great. I would not recommend cutting it around a vent or even putting it over a vent. Cutting around the vent I thought Id be okay but the air goes under the mat and creates wrinkles in the mat.
