Review snippets: I have other vacuum brewers. One is not a Cona Two others are older Conas. I also have a French press and an electric drip coffee maker. There is no doubt in my mind. The Conas produce the best tasting / This siphon brewer has changed the game by eliminating the need for cloth or paper filters. The oils released during brewing aren’t trapped by a filter.
