I bought this for my wife to use with her Nintendo Switch 2 and Kindle. Both fit easily / Not too heavy, and the base is very soft. It’s very sturdy and doesn’t fall with heavy things like an ipad (although I’ve only tested with a mini). It has a spot to tighten the hinges if it did start
