Review snippets: You can feel the QUALITY of this set as soon as you pick a knife up. Hefty, sharp, carbon steel blades. Triple brass riveted. Beautiful real wood walnut handles. This is the way things used to be made and just / I have had these for about a month now. Very sharp knife set. I love the wooden handles and it looks nice in our kitchen. I hand wash the knives and do not leave them sitting in water. Best buy
