Bought this in conjunction with a bird guard on the interior. In 2019 Imoved into a condo built in 1966 and everything was going well. In 2025 I began to have a dry that took 2 hours to dry a load of clothes. We found that birds had been nesting in my dryer vent, and I finally reached the point of little or no air flow. The vent cleaner pulled out piles and piles of bird nesting materials. We had an inner guard placed on the vent, and a bird guard placed on the outside of the vent. It worked, and now my dryer doe too. I would recommend them to anyone with a dryer vents to protect your investment. Read more

In 2025 I began to have a dry that took 2 hours to dry a load of clothes. We found that birds had been nesting in my dryer vent, and I finally reached the point of little or no air flow. The vent cleaner pulled out piles and piles of bird nesting materials. We had an inner guard placed on the vent, and a bird guard placed on the outside of the vent. It worked, and now my dryer doe too. I would recommend them to anyone with a dryer vents to protect your investment. Read more",
