He thought it was GREAT!!! Then my 23-year-old daughter came along and asked if it was for her!!! They both thought it was a lot of fun and super cool. I hope my granddaughter will love it as much as they do. What I like about it is that you can still use it if the battery dies. I also like that you can plug in headphones so you don't annoy anyone else in the house who might not appreciate the drumming. I'm guessing my daughter (birthday girl's mom) will also like that feature! All in all, this is easy to use and seems to be a great quality product!
