It just wasn't made quite that well, and did not have the positioning abilities that I wanted, plus it wasn't tall enough / I've used a few cheap monitor arms in my life, and they are generally ok if you want to leave your monitor in one spot, but barely ok. This arm is expensive, but honestly for something you can keep using
