Review snippets: When I bought this item for some reason I thought it was magnetic. It is not. It attaches to the sink with adhesive. So need to make sure you pick a spot it will stay at. Very sturdy product and / I bought this to hold the sponges in the sink of my kitchen island. It adheres well to the stainless steel sink and is very strong.
