Review snippets: Right out of the box, you get the impression that this is a quality tool. Excellent steel, excellent handle, and made in the USA by an old and respected company. However, two negatives: 1) the finish on the steel surface / these were around in my younger years back then wasnt old enough to appreciate a well balanced well made axe.it works as well as it looks an amazing axe at a great price not thrilled with the sheath and the
