Functionality couldn't be simpler: put in a battery (10440 to 26650, which is a pretty broad range) and wait for the red / This met my expectations, especially for the price. It doesn't come with any instructions, so unless you have another unit like this one or have charged batteries before, you might not know the color of the charging light and what
