Review snippets: Easy to install and simple to use, if you need a humidifier for your forced air furnace, this is a great solution. Ideal for either a new install or to replace an existing humidifier. The odds are good your furnace / Brittle plastic snapped on old unit when removing a thumb nut. Stud broke off with interior plastic when trying to remove drain pain for cleaning. On new unit I used anti seize compound on all studs to prevent corrosion welding
