I can use any pod and I can easily use a tablespoon of ground coffee in the mini brew basket to make a cup.So if I can't get the pods I want I / This is the perfect coffee maker for me. I love all of the options, especially “strength”. The brew basket is quite small but since you can make the coffee stronger I no longer miss that you cannot add more coffee
