As I started searching for information on setting up an RV for full time living, one of the disappointing things that stood out was that it was not advisable to drink the water that was available in most RV parks and resorts. Most of the inline filters that are available do not provide enough filtration to make me feel comfortable drinking the water, so we were constantly having to buy, store and hassle with water. Many filters that provide adequate filtration are much more expensive and more costly to maintain. This filter offers adequate filtration and capacity for all of the water we consume in our RV, and replacement filters are reasonably priced. We have been very pleased with the product, and no longer have to make the water run to make coffee!! Read more

Installation was easy. A couple screws, some PEX plumbing and your done. I installed it when the city water first comes into my 5thh wheel because even though it's kind of a waste, I would rather know that I am using purified water on all the plumbing fixtures. Really well built, doesn't look/feel cheap or plastic. My wife isn't a fan of the taste but don't let that affect your decision since she doesn't even like certain brands of bottled water!! The best part, when our RV part puts out a boil water notice I don't have to work about since the filter technology that the Blu Tech Trio uses is so high quality. Read more

This filter has a stainless container for the filter, a plastic filter head, and an anodized aluminum bracket. It's not all stainless steel. I ordered this to use under the sink on my cruising sailboat. I don't have room for a multi filter unit, and mainly just wanted a charcoal filter to reduce the chlorine taste and smell from the water coming from the tank. The single filter ships with their claimed ".2 micron" cartridge, which are available singly. This is only a particulate filter, however - it contains no other layers or materials and doesn't change taste or smell. The company does sell activated charcoal cartridges, but they're only sold in a filter set for their multiple filter units - they will not sell a carbon "tasty" filter separately. I've returned the unit as I will not purchase filter sets only to trash the units I cannot use. Read more

Update. The manufacturer quickly replied that the wrong model was shipped in error. I had them ship correct fitting. I gave 4 star as it leaked and I had to take apart and add more Teflon tape. The whole unit appears to be well built The picture reflects pex connectors. What was delivered has connections to your water hose.
