The bass is stable when an the stand, but the nice thing is that the stand folds small enough to fit into my hard sided bass case so it is easy to / This review is based on the price/quality of the product. Although it seems pretty well made, nonetheless this is plastic and probably won't hold up long term under active use, would probably break if you schlep a speaker on it.
