        "body": "While the main purpose for getting this rework station was to remove SMD and BGA chips, I decided to try this on a stubborn 16 pin DIP. I used my desolder and then some wick and still had some solder I couldn't get. A quick blast with the fine nozzle and a little gentle prying and the chip popped right out, no damaged pads or lifted traces. It heated up quick and seemed to be consistent. There's a stand that you can insert the hot air gun into so you can keep a consistent flow of hot air to a particular spot or device, giving you hands free operation. Some people will recommend getting a reflow station with a pump rather than one in the gun itself, however if you're on a budget then this will do the job perfectly well.
