How do I protect my finish? Wipe up spills immediately and dry them completely. Even the best finishes will eventually allow water to seep through and damage your furniture. How do you prevent damage? For surfaces, we recommend using a coaster, trivet, placemat, or table cloth to protect wood surfaces from heat and/or water. Do not place hot items directly on your surface. When writing on a wood surface, protect it with a writing pad. In the end, treating your furniture well will be the determining factor in how long it lasts and how well it looks over time. How do you prevent Fading or Discoloration?
