Recommend you let it hang at full length for at least 24 hours to allow fabric to relax before first wearing. Cold / Jessica London's makes the best broomstick skirt of anyone. I did get the black one and years later it is still as good as new. It is heavyweight cotton but not heavy or hot. I only wish they still had
