About this item
Meet the Kempf Dragon-Weave Coco Coir Doormat—engineered for real-world scraping power. Instead of tufting fibers onto a backing, we twist coconut coir strands into rope-like bundles and interweave them to build the mat itself. This twisted-weave construction creates rigid scraping ridges that pull dirt, mud, and sand off shoes before they cross your threshold. At 1-inch thick, the mat feels solid underfoot and excels at high-traffic entry points. It’s unbacked and breathable, so air can circulate and the coir dries more readily than vinyl-backed alternatives. Place it at the front door, entryway, porch, or patio for a warm, natural look that works season after season. Care: Shake or vacuum to clean. Allow to dry between heavy rains. Some natural shedding is expected at first. For longest life, use under a covered entry and avoid prolonged saturation.
