I didn't feel like pulling on another pair of pants to hit the store so figured I would order it online and have it on my doorstep by the time I got off work. That part played out well. It is a nice weight, nice looking, works well but it is shallow. In my old one, I could throw in 3 cups of rice and rinse them off with room to spare. 2 cups was a challenge in this one. Read more",

It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy and I can always get a firm grip on this strainer. My go to for rinsing 1 or 2 cups of rice. Coffee filters have a good fit for additional filtering too.
