Review snippets: Afterimage is seriously one of the best metroidvanias out there. It is more similar to Castlevania as there are level ups, equipment, and different weapons. The game is gorgeous, every area has a lot of detail on the map which / Beautifully hand drawn metroidvania with some anime sprinkled on top. I would say this title is not so much about going into difficult arenas and being overwhelmed, But about exploration and unlocking certain moves that you can do in order
