Review snippets: The seams on this bag are covered on the inside and beaded on the outside, with fabric not plastic. The tops of the shoulder straps are attached to a piece of horizontal webbing, not just sewn into the top seam / I got this backpack to take on fishing trips hoping it was waterproof. I found out the backpack is not waterproof but rather, water resistant. The website states the backpack is "waterproof" but if you submerge it under some water
