Nespresso Vertuo uses large capsule for coffee and small for espresso and has patented Centrifusion extraction technology reads barcode on the rim of compatible single-serve capsules and automatically sets brewing parameters. The Vertuo machine brews five cup sizes: 1.35 oz Espresso, 2.7 oz Double Espresso, 5.0 oz Gran Lungo, and 7.7 oz Coffee. Additional features include an adjustable tray, 54 oz. water reservoir, machine will automatically eject capsules after brewing; holds up to 17 use capsules. Heat up time of only 15-20 seconds and energy-saving automatic shutoff after 9 minutes of inactivity.
