My toddler - introduced to it at about 18 months of age - chooses to face the button outward for index fingers to grasp and press the button to open, so then the handle pressed against his throat which could hurt if he fumbles. Handling that way was intuitive for him at his current strength and dexterity. I wonder if it’s the same for others. I also don’t like how sharp the cup lip is.
