Since 1993 we have been designing wear-everywhere eyewear that is meant to be loved for the long-term. Our History - We have come a long way from our start as an importer and distributor of scissors, shears, and fine cutlery. Sammann Company Inc. was first established in 1908 and founded the Peepers Brand in 1993 when Mrs. Sammann, a.k.a. Mz. Peepers recognized a need for fashionable readers and began designing the fun looks that started Peepers. Today that same passion has carried on as we continue to create stylish, optical quality reading and sunglasses. Peepers Fun Fact - Our eyewear has been featured as one of Oprah's Favorite Things for the 8th time! Steps Toward A Brighter Future - Investing in generations to come is important to us. We hope to continue to make an impact by giving back to our communities through local volunteer work and community outreach initiatives like our Peepers for Teachers Program. Designing With Intention & Sustainability - We see the beauty and importance in natural, sustainable materials and challenge ourselves to integrate them into our collections each season. We are also proud to utilize solar power as our main source of energy at our headquarters.
