No bite, no bitterness. Did a 2 (copper moon Pecan) to one Verona. And it is a Winner. Better than any cup of coffee I've experienced so far. And I'm 70 yrs. Be sure to follow the directions of this site. As to how to first wet the grounds. Wait about 20-30 sec. Then slowly pour in a circular motion outside to inside then middle. Its easy to clean to boot. Only downside is, it's a bit slow to brew. It tends to gunk up and take a while for the water to drain through the coffee grounds all the way. This actually results in tastier, stronger coffee so I am all for it, but expect about 3 to 4 minutes to make a cup of coffee from the point the water started boiling. Read more",
