It heats up super fast and is much more compact than my old curler set taking up much less space in the drawer and can even be packed in a suitcase for traveling. The design / Heats up fast, easy to use, long -lasting curl. Only complaint is that after more than a year of using them 2-3 times per week, some of the flocking has rubbed off toward the edges and they burn my fingers
