I originally purchased this thermometer from a local store when my child was an infant. It works so well and has held up over the years. My child is now eight years old and I purchased a second one from Amazon because of how amazing they are I wanted to have two so when I go on vacations with my kids, I can bring one along, it is super fast and super accurate. I have never had good luck with the forehead, thermometers or ears thermometers. They are never accurate under the tongue. This thermometer is extremely accurate.
