About this item
The PIG0311-G was designed for the active outdoorsman; meant to get dirty, thrown in trucks, and used outside often. Paired with a direct mounted HOG Saddle or PIG Saddle, this shooting tripod can do almost anything a more expensive tripod kit can do, but at a fraction of the cost. 34 lbs weight rating. Center column can fully rotate 365 degrees, a great feature for anyone direct mounting a HOG Saddle or PIG Saddle to the PIG0311-G or PIG0311-GS (Short), and allows the user to get all the way down to a 11.5” high prone position; A removable, load bearing hook, has been added to the bottom of the center column to hang weight, such as a backpack, greatly increasing tripod stability; The tripod’s feet incorporate interchangeable rubber or spiked feet. (Yes, the spiked feet are included); Three section extending aluminum legs with adjustable cam lever leg locks; A heavy duty 34 lbs load capacity, weighing only 5.6 lbs Rated 4.8 out of 5. Customers find the tripod to be a solid piece of gear that holds cameras very solidly.

Review snippets: I selected this for wildlife photography with a large camera, and potentiality to try with my varmint rifle. The tripod is exactly what I needed. I mounted a gimbal head on it and it holds the camera very solid. I / I bought this for use in PRS and long range shooting. I use it primarily as a mount for my 15x Athlon Cronus Binoculars. I used to use an Basics tripod, and that thing would shake if a butterfly
