Parawood is one of the most widely used woods in today's home furnishings because of its fine texture, light color, high durability, and because it's one of the most renewable woods in the world. How do I protect my finish? Wipe up spills immediately and dry them completely. Even the best finishes will eventually allow water to seep through and damage your furniture. How do you prevent damage? For surfaces, we recommend using a coaster, trivet, placemat, or table cloth to protect wood surfaces from heat and/or water. Do not place hot items directly on your surface. When writing on a wood surface, protect it with a writing pad.
