Review snippets: "The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim" is a 2024 anime fantasy film, variously described as a prequel to "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings" trilogies, based on a screenplay cowritten by Jeffrey Addiss & / I was surprised, the animation on this film is in the style of the 1970s and 80s with a touch of modern technology incorporated for clean smooth motion. The story is fantastic, the characters are fantastic, I absolutely loved this

From the manufacturer King of Rohan. A grim, strong man with a deadly hammer-like punch. His greatest strength-and weakness-is his deep love for his children. A princess of Rohan with a wild spirit. Hera thrives on the plains, riding and exploring. Honest and true, she refuses to conform to others' expectations. Lord Fréaláf Hildeson, nephew of Helm, is First Marshall of the Riddermark and Héra's elder cousin. The son of Freca. While he feels fondness for Héra, rejection by both her and Helm hardens him and his sense of injustice leads him to wage war. Once a Shield Maiden of Rohan, she is companion and lady's maid to the King of Rohan's only daughter, Héra. Haleth, prince of Rohan, is a dependable son who's meant to follow in his father Helm's footsteps. The second son of Helm. His nature is more sensitive - he reads, sings and plays music on his lyre. Lord of the West March. His mixed Dunlending heritage is a source of scorn and mockery from King Helm.
