Review snippets: This is my third mattress from Therma-Rest. I have a self inflating, a short summer lightweight summer time device and now this insulated full length mattress. This is the most comfortable. The shorter is fine on the AT if you / Bought this at the last minute before leaving for a backpacking trip when I found my S2S pad was leaking (again). Lighter than the leaking pad and packs down smaller. The "crinkly" sound of previous generation Thermarest pads is gone.
