The foam material is pretty durable for sitting and it bounces right back into shape, and these are way more comfortable than having someone sit in just a wheelchair seat all day. The size (width and length) are a very good fit for a chair. They aren't as thick as the last cushion I had for my mother's chair, but they have enough thickness to be comfortable, and at half the cost they are a great value. The gel part seems pretty thin, but its enough. The covers fit well, and you can take them off and wrap the cushion in a plastic bag to help keep it clean. The last cushion I had was a similar material and it tore itself in half in my washing machine, so just make an effort to keep them clean from the get go and they will last a long time. Read more",
