The scent is light enough and good enough where it wasn't overpowering and it rinses of easily. Best of / Better than the bottles! One pod produced a lot of bubbles, comparable to 1 full bottle or more. We absolutely love this. The bottles lasted us not even a few days but these kids are one for each bath session.
