Customers say: Customers find the tripod mount works well with their phones and holds them securely. Customers have mixed opinions about the stiffness, with several noting that the spring is a little stiff.
Review snippets: Very stiff, but also very sturdy, used this to replace one that a tripod came with. This is exactly what you expect and maybe a little better. Ironically I got a new tripod and it came with one that looked / Just barely fits a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in an Otterbox Defender or UAG case, if that's what you are looking for.
