Each lighter has a bottom stamp signifying the year it was made, is refillable, and is backed by Zippo’s famous lifetime guarantee. All windproof lighters are American made in our Bradford, PA factory and come packaged in a gift box.

The Sayings Lighters are created using two of Zippo's imprint methods, laser engrave and color image All Zippo windproof lighters are American made in our Bradford, PA factory. Color Image Lighter State-of-the-art printing methods allow Zippo to imprint multiple spot colors or full-color photogenic representations. Engraved Windproof Lighter Zippo has two processes for engraving: Auto engrave and Laser engrave. Auto engrave is the imprint method that is used throughout this collection. Skilled operators use either rotary engrave or diamond cut method to inscribe an image into the product using creative fill patterns. This technique leaves a crisp clean jewelry look. Windproof Lighter Case The sayings lighters have a standard case shape featuring rounded corners and top with a flat bottom. A five-barrel hinge joins the top and the bottom. Windproof Lighter Insert The sayings lighters have a standard insert with 16 holes in the chimney (8 per side). Windproof Lighter Bottom Stamp Bottom stamp with Zippo logo from the period authenticates this lighter as genuine Zippo.
